/starknetTokenGetAllowance

Retrieves the current allowance amount that a token owner has granted to a specific spender for an ERC20-compatible token on Starknet. This read-only function queries the approved spending limit without modifying blockchain state or consuming gas fees.

The allowance mechanism is fundamental to ERC20 token interactions, enabling users to authorize smart contracts or other addresses to spend tokens on their behalf. This function is essential for checking spending permissions before executing token transfers, swaps, or other DeFi operations.

The function queries the token contract's allowance entry point (selector 0x01e8...fe1) and handles Starknet's u256 response format, automatically combining multiple response fields for large allowance values.

This is commonly used by DeFi protocols, wallets, and dApps to verify spending permissions before attempting token operations that require pre-existing approvals.

This function returns the allowance value directly as an integer, not wrapped in the standard API response structure.
