Creating a Cashbox
Creating a Cashbox requires logging in as a user with permissions to create a cashbox, and then configuring three tabs:
- Details: This tab configures the financial side of the Cashbox.
- Destinations: This tab configures who can receive funds from the Cashbox.
- Users: This tab configures who can send funds out from the Cashbox.
The Cashbox's configuration cannot be changed after the creation process.
You can configure the Cashbox however you wish, but if you exceed your user's limits, the Cashbox creation process will fail.
Details

Configuring the details tab calls for different specific information for different crypotocurrency families. Find the relevant details information for your Cashbox configuration below:

Every Cashbox, regardless of type, requires you to name it. The ID, however, is chosen by the system.
Destinations

The Destinations tab opens to the destinations table. This table shows the name, address, and protection status for every contact configured on the Cashbox. The Cashbox initially has that currency's cold wallet preset as a contact. The cold wallet is unprotected and cannot be removed, as closing the Cashbox automatically triggers a transfer of all remaining funds in the Cashbox to the cold wallet. The wallet MUST be a destination for the Cashbox.
Adding other contacts to the destinations list is a four-step process:
Click the edit icon (the pencil to the right of the Destinations table).
Select the contacts to add by checking corresponding box in the Add column.
Contacts must be added to the system prior to creating the Cashbox. You cannot add new contacts during the Cashbox creation process.
Configure protection for any contacts you want by checking the corresponding box in the Protect column.
You cannot turn off protection for the MPC (shown as a "hot wallet" address) if adding it as a destination. This is intentional.
Click OK to add the selected contacts to the destinations table.
Users

The Users tab opens to the Users table. This table shows the User Name and User ID (email address) of every user allowed to send transactions out from the Cashbox.
Adding users to the list is a three-step process.
Click the edit icon (the pencil to the right of the Users table).
Select the Users to add by checking corresponding box in the Add column.
Click OK to add the selected users to the Users table.
