Custom properties for accounts
Each account created on the Custody Infrastructure system contains basic information, such as the name, Id and the currencies associated with it.
To improve management of accounts in the Impenetrable Vault, the admin can add extra properties to the system so that accounts can be customised to your needs.
For example, when creating an account for a someone that has several locations or businesses with different names, your organization can now add new property parameters to your system, such as 2nd Office Location or Alternative business name. These new properties are then included in all, new and existing, accounts.
Adding Custom properties to accounts
To add custom properties to accounts:
Log in to the Impenetrable Vault and select Preferences.
In the System Preferences page select the Custom Properties tab.
Select the New Property button. The New Property pop up window opens.

Type: Select the input type for the value of this property.
Hint: Add a short description to ensure the user knows what information to provide.
Default: Set a default value for this property.
Enabled: Toggle this to enable this property to appear in the Accounts Details page.
Required: Toggle this if the property is required when creating or editing the Account.
Unique: Toggle this if the property must contain a unique response and cannot match alternative labels.

Select Save.
Repeat this for all new properties.
To complete this process select Save changes.
After validation by an admin, the new properties appear in the Accounts page, either when creating a new account or editing an existing one.

An information message also appears in the MPC Desktop app to inform the user of the new properties, however they do not appear in the Desktop Account details.
