MPC Settings

Update IP
This option allows the MPC, desktop, and mobile endpoints to communicate. The IP field should be updated if and when the IP of the mandatory cosigner changes.
Initialize Hot Wallet
The Initialize Hot Wallet button is used to set up a new MPC (in case the old MPC has been destroyed or deleted). This action requires additional validation by another admin user.
Export Cold Definitions
This feature enables the synchronized export of data from the cold vault to the Proxy, where it can be saved to a file. You have the flexibility to configure this action to occur at predefined time intervals or execute it immediately.
The Auto Export option allows the user to export the cold vault definitions to a file that is hosted on the Hot MPC Wallet machine. The export will occur at regular user-defined intervals.
The Immediate Export option triggers the export operation immediately.
Synchronize State
This functionality comes into play when the Proxy is not synchronized with the Cold Vault. Such a situation could arise if the unidirectional cable becomes disconnected. The action is particularly useful when the user detects discrepancies between the MPC and the state of the Cold Vault. These discrepancies might involve rules, configurations, accounts, users, or other functions. To verify this, you can compare the “Last Seen” value from the Proxy with the “Last Sent Message Number” in the Cold Vault.
Click the Full State checkbox to perform a full system alignment.
Transfer Logs to Hot
To see the Cold Vault logs, the user needs to export the log files to the Proxy. To do so, select the period for logs to be gathered and sent from the Cold Vault to the Proxy and click Transfer.
The files will be written in the Proxy under the /opt/gk8/bin/ColdLog path. The logs will show up as a .txt file.
The audit option on the left side will indicate that the file transfer was performed.
