Overview
The dashboard is the first screen displayed when you successfully log in to the desktop application.

The dashboard shows information about the current state of the account, its assets, and the current user session. From the dashboard the user can easily access all other MPC functions of the Custody Infrastructure system.
User State
You can be logged into the browser in one of two modes, either the standard mode or a more limited "Read Only" mode.
- Standard Mode: In this mode you can do anything policy allows. You can send and approve transactions, edit users and addresses, and perform other functions up to the limits of your user permissions.
- Read Only Mode: In this mode you can gain information about the accounts, balances, addresses, etc., but you cannot make any changes or initiate any transactions.
User state is shown in the upper right, under your name.

In Standard Mode, there is no note under your name. When you are in read only mode, you can see it noted as in the image above.
The Dashboard sidebar
The sidebar allows navigation between different areas of the desktop application. The sidebar is accessible from ever area of the desktop application. From top to bottom, you can access:
- Dashboard Home: This is the dashboard that opens when you log in to the application.
- Transactions: This area shows a history of transactions on the account and their current statuses.
- Addresses: This area shows all addresses registered on the system. Address details can be expanded as either a QR code or text string. Address Groups can also be accessed from here. For more details, see Addresses and Address GroupsAddresses and Address Groups.
- Wallets: This area shows the status of all wallets on the account. In standard mode, you can add new wallets to the account via this panel as well.
- Collectors: This area shows the collector settings and the collections history log.

The blue sidebar icon indicates what area of the desktop application you are currently working in.

The Account
The panel to the top-left of the dashboard indicates the account name, type, and ID. If you have access to multiple accounts, you can use the dropdown to switch between them.
The Account panel is visible from all areas of the desktop application. You can switch between accounts at any time.

Total Balance and Balance Details
The Total Balance and Balance Details panels outline how much currency is in the account and its types and distribution.
- Total Balance: This panel shows the total of all assets on the account, along with a high-level breakdown outlining MPC and Cold Vault cumulative asset amounts
- Balance Details: This panel breaks down the assets in detail. Each coin type in the account is diplayed, along with how much is currently in the Cold Vault and how much is in the MPC.

Coin Values
This panel displays the fiat values used to assess the assets across the system. The values are set manually in the Cold Vault. These values are what the system uses to apply policies to actions across the system.
Fiat values do not update in real-time. They only change when manually altered by a user with appropriate permissions.
Coinmarketcap is a reliable site for checking current values of various cryptocurrencies.

Digital Vaults
This panel shows coin balances in each individual vault. Every active currency is shown. Each currency is displayed with both its amount and fiat value (based on fiat values configured in the cold vault). You can toggle what wallets are displayed by clicking MPC, Cold Vault, or Cashbox.
Click any currency shown to display its address.

Addresses
This panel shows contact addresses input in the system. These can be internal addresses of different wallets in the system, or addresses of external contacts. Click any address to display it. For more information see Addresses and Address GroupsAddresses and Address Groups.

System Status Indicators
On the far left of the dashboard, at the bottom of the sidebar, are two status indicators. The top indicator shows the state of the desktop connection to the rest of the system. A checkmark means good; The connection is intact and data is moving.
The SN number is the serial number of the most recent message received from the Cold Vault. As long as this number matches the number on the Cold Vault, everything is good. If the numbers differ, it's time to do a manual sync.

Custody Ratio screen
The Custody Ratio page shows a break down of each coin in your system across the Impenetrable vault, uMPC Desktop app, and the Proxy vault. This enables clients to quickly verify that asset allocations align with institutional custody policies, typically maintaining 10–20% in the uMPC and the remainder in the Impenetrable vault.
Frozen assets in uMPC, such as those restricted due to AML or KYC requirements, are still reflected in the custody distribution to provide a complete and accurate view of holdings.
Each currency also includes an individual visualization, making it easier to identify imbalances or currencies that may require transfers to maintain compliance.
