Request approval process
Administrative actions or transactions need to be approved by an user with approval authorization.
After performing an administrative action, such as adding a new contact, a new transaction policy or a permission, an administrative approval request must be made. This request is then approved according to the rules set up in the relevant Approval workflow, for example two Quorm admin's must approve.
Once the request is sent, all the users included in the approval workflow receive a message either via the desktop or mobile app. The message informs them that they should approve the change.
After clicking on the pop up message, a full, detailed listing of changes awaiting approval appears.
The approver has the choice to Approve or Decline.
Multiple Contact request
When multiple new contacts are added to the system and the approval request sent, an approver has the option to remove some of the contacts and approve others from the request.
To approve and decline specific contact in a request
The Administrative changes request window opens and lists all of the requests.
Select Approve or Decline to process all of the requests.
To remove some of the contacts from the request, select Delete Contacts in the top row.
The list appears with the Delete button for each row.
When the approver deletes one of the contacts, it changes color and the Undo delete button appears, in case the approver wants to re-approve this contact.
The number of contacts to be deleted appears at the bottom of the window.
Once all decisions have been made by the approver, select Confirm delete and approve to give approval and send to any other approvers, or Cancel to decline the request altogether.
Other approvers who view the request after the deletion of the contact, receive a list of the requests that have already been approved. In addition, any deleted contacts are presented to the present approver, who can either agree with the decision or undo the deletion and approve the contact as originally requested.
Then the approver can approve the updated request.
