Sending Cashbox Transactions
Cashboxes are only available if your system has an Impenetrable Vault.
Funds can be sent out from a Cashbox to any preconfigured destination for that Cashbox. You can use either the desktop app or the mobile app to create Cashbox transactions; this article covers sending cashbox transactions from the desktop.
Prerequisites
Before you can send a transaction out from a Cashbox, you must:
- Have or create a Cashbox on the system. See Creating a Cashbox. Make sure to include your intended recipient's address as a destination when creating the cashbox. Destinations cannot be added later.
- Have adequate parts remaining in the Cashbox. See Cashbox Parts.
- Have the Cashbox passwords (if sending to a protected destination). See Protected Destinations.
- Be logged into the desktop (NOT in Read Only Mode) as a user with permissions to send from the Cashbox. See User Management.

Next Steps
Cashboxes are limited in both the total funds they can handle and to where they can transfer those funds. If you need to send more funds to new destinations, see Creating a Cashbox for details on creating a new Cashbox to meet your needs.
Once you have no more need for the Cashbox, see Closing a Cashbox for information on how to close the Cashbox.
