Sending Proxy Vault (cashbox) Transactions
In the mobile app a Cashbox is referred to as a Proxy Vault.
In the Impenetrable Vault they are still referred to as a Cashbox.
Funds can be sent out from a Proxy Vault account to any preconfigured destination for that proxy account. You can use either the desktop app or the mobile app to create a proxy vault transaction. This article covers sending a proxy vault transaction from the mobile app.
Prerequisites
Before you can send a transaction out from a Proxy vault account, you must:
- Have or create a Cashbox on the system. See Creating a Cashbox. Make sure to include your intended recipient's address as a destination when creating the cashbox. Destinations cannot be added later.
- Have adequate parts remaining in the Cashbox. See Cashbox Parts.
- Have the Cashbox passwords (if sending to a protected destination). See Protected Destinations.
- Be logged into your mobile as a user with permissions to send from the Cashbox. See Creating a Cashbox (Set this to Users after draft approval)
Sending funds from the Proxy vault
Select New Transaction (the + icon) from the mobile dashboard. The New Transaction screen opens.
Select Create Proxy Vault transaction instead. The *Proxy Vault *Transaction screen opens.
Work through the dropdown and popup menus from top to bottom.
The Proxy Vault Transaction menu only displays icons for active coins on the account.
Set the coin for the transaction:
- Tap the top field to open the coin menu.
- Choose your coin type.
- Choose your coin.
Set the FROM account and cashbox for the transaction:
- Select FROM. The Select account screen opens. Select the Account.
- The Select Proxy Vault screen opens. Select the Proxy Vault. These are filled in to the FROM account.
Set the Proxy Vault destinations to send the funds to:
- Select To. The destination list opens.
- Select an address from the list.
Select Next.
The transaction summary page displays. Set the amount to transfer, optionally, you can also add a note. Select the password button.
You cannot send an amount that exceeds the limits configured for your user.
If sending to a protected destination: Input the requested password into the Password field from your destination's password list. See Protected Destinations for details. You may need to enter more than one password.
- The Enter Passwords page opens. The password screen opens with instructions detailing what password or passwords are needed to send the transaction.
- Input the password(s) into the field(s).
